This is a very nice product as the scent is very light and old-fashioned, very nostalgic smelling, like your grandmother's garden on a spring morning, the lilac clear and fragrant. I worried that the scent might irritate my allergies or my sensitive skin, but it does not at all. The product istself is very gentle and seems to work well for my skin type, which is dry and sensitive. Does not strip the skin at all, but seems to just finish off my cleansing ritual perfectly, leaving my skin soft and lightly fragrant. I ordered the small, very cute "try-me" size, but plan to order the full size product soon, as I really enjoy this natural style astringent. Witch hazel is very good overall for the skin, and this maker's product is excellent quality. The container itself is very vintage looking, as well, and looks nice even when left out in the bathroom counter or on your dresser. Excellent product and highly recommended.
