I took this psyllium and bentonite before and it managed to get me out of a colitis flare. I stopped taking it and after some time I flared again. Started back on it again, and although still fighting the flare yet, my overall feeling of health is better, probably within less than a week I felt better overall. Just be careful and start out slowly, I mean slowly, half a teaspoon with the psyllium for few days and see how it affects your bowel movements. At first it can constipate somewhat, but then things get better and you can increase to 2 teaspoons or so.
